Brothers Osborne Set To Perform at 8th Annual CMC Music Awards (Australia)

Foxtel and CMC (Country Music Channel), Australia’s only destination for country music, are excited to announce US hottest breaking bands Old Dominion and Brothers Osborne and local favourites Travis Collins and Amber Lawrence are set to perform at the 8th Annual CMC Music Awards on Thursday March 15, 2018 at The Star Gold Coast. 

They join Grammy Award winner Darius Rucker, hottest young female international country artist Kelsea Ballerini, and local favourites The Wolfe Brothers.  

Nashville based duo Brothers Osborne, comprised of real-life siblings John and TJ Osborne are a three time Grammy nominated band who make their debut at both the CMC Music Awards and CMC Rocks.

The two-time CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year” recently released their new single “Shoot Me Straight” off their upcoming sophomore album ‘Port Saint Joe’ which was produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town).

At the 2017 CMAs, Brothers Osborne won two awards: vocal duo of the year and music video of the year and recently received their third GRAMMY nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for their Top 10 rowdy hit It Ain’t My Fault”. That nomination joins their previously nominated No.1 Platinum smash hit “Stay A Little Longer” as well as the nostalgic “21 Summer”. All three tracks are featured on their critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Pawn Shop’ which was recently certified Gold by the RIAA.  Brothers Osborne also stands as the reigning ACM “Vocal Duo of the Year” and “New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.”  They will launch their first headlining UK tour this May then join Dierks Bentley on his ‘Mountain High Tour’.

The 8th Annual CMC Music Awards kick off a star studded week in country music with CMC Rocks QLD 2018, Australia’s premiere Country and Roots Festival to follow. Now in its epic eleventh year, CMC Rocks will be headlined by two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, on his debut Australian visit. Joining him in the line-up is Darius Rucker (US) and Kelsea Ballerini (US), along with local duo Busby Marou and a phenomenal line-up of the very best artists the genre has to offer from Thursday March 15*- Sunday March 18, 2018 at Willowbank near Ipswich and will telecast on CMC in April. *Campers entrance only
